JAPANESE porn actress Maria Ozawa might soon be drawing laughter instead of ooohs and aaahs from movie patrons.

This is because the actress, also known as Miyabi, is set to star in an Indonesian comedy due for release at the end of the year.

Jakarta-based Maxima Pictures assures that the comedy, “Menculik Miyabi” (Kidnapping Miyabi), will not have scenes with the actress in her regular role.

The story is about three students who are so obsessed with Miyabi that they hatch a plan to kidnap her, the Malaysian Mirror reports.

The idea to bring Miyabi over to Indonesia and give her a role in the movie, however, has not gone down well from religious quarters.

But the government and women’s activists are open to having her over to show her acting talent provided she does not shed her clothes.

Born in Hokkaido to a Japanese mother and a French-Canadian father, Miyabi’s exotic looks set her apart from other Japanese.

Miyabi joined the adult video industry at 18 after being introduced to it by a friend who was working in the business.
